HOW TO AVOID GETTING SUED BY YOUR EX-EMPLOYER 150 150 Lauren Ellerman

I am a very sensitive person. I like puppies and kittens, rainbows, sappy movies, and I don’t like when nice, good people, do stupid things and end up in Court.

Now, selfishly speaking, I make a lot more money helping these nice, good, stupid people defend lawsuits from their old employers, then I do by providing free advice in a blog. But again, I’m a softy and don’t want people to suffer.

So months ago, I wrote a blog on how to avoid getting sued.

I also wrote about it this past January – How to avoid getting sued over your non-compete.

Last year I wrote a blog on the top nine things to do to invite a non-compete lawsuit.

And today, I read a terrific blog from Jay Shepherd, a Boston attorney who represents Employers. Jay writes about the top 8 ways to get sued by your employer and a follow up Blog by Jill, another employment lawyer who works in Seattle.

I can lead a horse to water, but as the saying goes, I can’t make him drink.

Read up friends. Take some of this sage advice, and if you totally ignore everything I have written and preached about, and everything Jay and Jill have written about, call me. I am happy to help defend any nice, good person who may find his or herself faced with a lawsuit in Virginia.
